In this role you will provide database support in a multi-customer and multi-national environment handling all tasks from simplest to the most complex. You will be responsible for the stable day-by-day database service. The core of your work will be troubleshooting of the Database Servers/Instances in cooperation with different teams to bring the highest level of the service to customers. You will cover all aspects of Database support from backup/restore responsibility, system and application tuning, high-availability, implementing the most current technologies and methodologies. You will be continuously increasing your technological knowledge level and your personal skills and abilities.
You will need:
• Knowledge of Operating Sytems (Unix or Windows) including scripting
• Experience in selected database technology administration area Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Minimum 6 months experience in backup and recovery methodologies, installing, patching, operating, testing, planning and configuring relevant technologies
• Experience with implementing and supporting high-availability technologies on the selected database platform
• Fluent English and French
